First let us start off by thanking everyone for another great summer season. 2009 marked Boston Fixed Gear’s first year with a retail shop. The response was really strong, and we built far more custom bikes than anticipated. At this point, our store location will only be open seasonally. We will be open during official business hours until the 23rd of August and will be available by appointment up until the beginning of September. After that, custom bike building will continue on a limited production basis through the website. If you are interested in building a bike, please feel free to contact us. In the mean time, we encourage our prospective customers to get their orders in soon before we wind down for the season.

New Nishiki Fixed Gear has Come and Gone
June 7th, 2009
Last week we picked up a vintage Nishiki road bike with some pretty rusty components, but the steel frame and paint were good to go: the perfect fixie conversion. We built it up with all new track components for a ultra-smooth ride, but it left our shop just as quickly as it arrived. Stay tuned for more pre-built models over the next couple of weeks - they’ll go fast!
